The Truman House

The Truman House is a traditional condo building that was the residence of Harry Truman between 1941-1945. Located at the corner of Connecticut Avenue and Chesapeake Street in Forest Hills, the 5-story building was delivered in 1927, offering 50 residences. Pet-friendly, many of the apartments in The Truman have been recently renovated to include upgrades such as new flooring, and modern conveniences in the kitchens and bathrooms.
